Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the tool say 'no form fields detected'?

The PDF may not contain interactive AcroForm fields. Some PDFs that look like forms are just static text and lines β€” they need a PDF editor to add real form fields.

What is form flattening?

Flattening converts interactive fields into static page content. The filled values become permanent and the form can no longer be edited.

Does this work with Adobe LiveCycle (XFA) forms?

No. XFA forms use a different technology. This tool supports standard AcroForm fields only.

Can I save a partially filled form and continue later?

Yes. Download the filled PDF without flattening, then re-upload it later to continue editing the remaining fields.

Are my form entries sent to any server?

No. All form detection and filling happens in your browser. Your data stays on your device.
